 CMAJ Subscription Centre: Accessing Our Content
Effective January 2010, we will be restricting access to some CMAJ content. CMAJ will continue to be accessible to CMA members, subscribers and people in developing countries.
Access Details
- Open Access – research, editorials, news, letters, clinical images, abstracts and past articles previously published will continue to be free of charge.
- Restricted Access – reviews, analysis, practice, commentaries, humanities, Salon and supplements will be restricted to CMA members and subscribers. After 12 months, content restricted at the time of publication will become open access.
CMA Members
CMA members can access CMAJ content through cma.ca. First you must login on cma.ca and then click on the cmaj.ca link to authenticate access. If you don’t have an account or don’t remember your login details, please contact the

Subscriptions
Currently we offer individual, institution subscriptions as well as multisite, global or consortia licenses and you can subscribe to print and online or online only.
